ABOUT US
We are a neurodivergent couple from central Maine, Amber Hathaway and Brian Toner. We met in undergrad and quickly discovered we shared a passion for storytelling. We became involved in the indie horror community and noticed a gap in publishing. While there are many neurodivergent indie horror authors, there are very few publishing resources devoted to neurodivergent folks. Even among presses that make it their mission to uplift diverse voices, neurodivergent authors are often left out. We created Deadly Seeds Press to fill this gap.
We are still learning the ropes, but the hope is that within the next few years, we will have built up the marketing resources and network to be able to offer other neurodivergent and otherwise marginalized authors a top-notch small press publishing experience. We are especially interested in working with authors from Maine, as this is where we are based and where we have the most connections.
